Operative Tactics & Medicine

“Operative Tactics & Medicine” is a specialized course developed and conducted by Operative Fähigkeiten and the Airborne Medical Group.

Its curriculum is built on unique, field-proven concepts derived from extensive operational experience and informed by the latest developments in both medical and tactical procedures.

The course begins with a structured introduction to the fundamentals of CQB and operational medicine, followed by progressive, scenario-based tactical training (FOF) designed to integrate and apply these skills under realistic conditions.

The concepts is truly unique, shaped by years of operational experience and the latest advancements in both medicine and tactics

Over the course of seven training days, we will cover the following modules with you:

Tactics

• CQB tactics

• Safe and dynamic weapons handling

• Threat identification and prioritization

• Team task allocation

• Procedures for various room configurations

• Actions before, during, and after room entry

• Approaches to an objective

• Conduct in progressively complex scenarios

• Corridor movement techniques

• Stairwell movement techniques

• Low-light techniques and tactical considerations

Medicine

• MARCH primary assessment and treatment algorithm

• Management of massive hemorrhage

• Airway stabilization

• Thoracic trauma considerations

• Shock management

• Hypothermia prevention

• Use of improvised materials

• Casualty transport and handover procedures

• CCP (Casualty Collection Point) management in urban environments

Throughout the course, both Tactics and Medicine are progressively combined in fully integrated, scenario-based exercises designed to replicate operational conditions.

Training Location

The course takes place near Koblenz, Rheinland-Pfalz.

Accommodation is available on-site for an additional fee of €10 per day. Further details will be included in the information package provided after registration.

• Full physical capability

Restricted to Authorized Personnel

Courses under this designation are strictly reserved for members of the Armed Forces, Police, Customs, professional armed personnel, and designated reservists.
A valid ID, confirming your occupation in a professional field mentioned above, must be presented at the start of the course.

Participant Minimum

A minimum of 8 participants is required for the course to take place.

Training Schedule (Monday to Sunday)

• Day I: 10:00 – 19:00

• Days II–VI: 09:00 – 19:00

• Day VII: 08:00 – 17:00
