The tourniquet is a tourniquet system that can block and completely interrupt blood flow in the veins and arteries. It is the next option after manual pressure and a pressure bandage.
In our opinion, the tourniquet should be part of a first aid course in order to save people with massive bleeding and to make the application and indications understandable to the first aider. Likewise, the first aid course should be repeated regularly in order to provide more confidence for the first aider.
